It can be followed by amplifier for large area coverage of over-long trunk and local networks. This External Modulation CATV optic transmitter adopts low noise, narrow bandwidth, continuous wave laser as light source and American JDS-U LiNbO3 external modulator as signal modulation, which eliminates laser chirp effect which is caused by 1550nm laser Internal Modulation.
