OCEAN FREIGHT CONSOLIDATION
FLG Logistics is a Turkish based forwarder that provides freight transportation services identical to that provided by a vessel owning common carrier, but without the constraints and overhead costs associated with owning and operating a fleet of vessels.
For smaller, less container load ( " LCL " ) , shipments, FLG will consolidate your cargo with other freight. By consolidating the bookings of many large shipping volumes, FLG offers a competitive edge over other freight forwarders. Through our worldwide network of quality agents, we will devan and deliver your cargo to its destination.
As an independent operator, FLG Logistics is able to offer optimum cost effective shipping services to every destination. FLG services embrace not only port to port, door to port, door to door, but also inland transshipment in Turkey and other countries. Our personnel have extensive experience in handling, receiving and stuffing export LCL freight into steamship containers. The most important part of this service is to maximize the utility of the cubic capacity of cargo containers so that you enjoy the reduced rate that results from packing cargo more densely into container.
Packing, crating, blocking, bracing, securing, paneling and plat forming are part of an efficient freight consolidation. Our trained expert personnel are capable of performing all of these tasks with each and every container for the sole purpose of reducing the cost of shipment.
FLG OCEAN FREIGHT OF FULL CONTAINER LOAD
FLG Logistics offers a reduced rate for shipper owned or leased containers to almost any port in the world. FGL selects only reliable steamship carriers, having competitive transit times and offering the lowest possible rates.
As a customer, you may choose one or all of the following options for your full container load ( " FCL " ) cargo:
1) FLG can pick up your cargo at your facility, or you can deliver your cargo to our warehouse.
2) You can choose to have the container delivered to your facility, or request the container to be delivered to FLG warehouse for loading.
3) FLG will pack, wrap and crate your cargo for you, or you can choose to arrange for those services yourself.
4) Expert FLG personnel can load your container, or you may load it yourself at your facility.
FLG will prepare all appropriate scheduling, booking, and all documentations works.
FLG Logistics will handle all arrangements to have the container trucked back to the container port for ocean shipment to the port of destination. After the vessel departure, FLG will issue the Bills Of Lading with the full style of destination agent. All documents will be hand delivered directly to customers, or they can be forwarded in any manner as directed.
FLG AIR FREIGHT PERSONNEL EFFECT AND HOUSE HOLD GOODS TRANSPORTATION
Just as with ocean freight, by using method of freight consolidation to many major cities worldwide, FLG Logistics is able to provide exceptionally low rates from airport to airport, door to airport, and door to door delivery. FLG will pick up, wrap, pack, crate, mark, and label your cargo and then airfreight to the final destination. Preparing the export declaration, Air Waybill, and Certificate of Origin is part of FLG' s customary air services, which will be provided to customers as part our services. FLG also offers full coverage insurance plans from first rated insurance companies for the assurance and safety of customer cargo.
FLG PACKING AND CRATING
FLG Logistics has experienced warehouse personnel who are well acquainted with the need for handling your cargo with care. FLG uses the finest packing Materials such as large and small plastic bubble wrap, strong and durable craft cardboard boxes, high quality tapes, plastic stretch film, and corrugated craft paper pads. FLG expert packers make certain that customer cargo is properly packed and protected. They take the time to arrange and rearrange customer cargo in order to achieve the smallest possible combination for customizing a crate with the sole purpose of reducing dead spaces in customer shipment. Wooden and custom crates are specially designed and built for customer glass and other fragile items to protect them and to better utilize container space.
