What is Indonesia today was a Dutch colony for more than 300 years. One of the results of that is a tasty one: Makan Indonesia Catering and Delivery restaurant. Makan Indonesia serves authentic Indonesian cuisine, liberally using the finest locally available European ingredients, pairing them with the staggering variety of Indonesian sauces, and incorporating cooking styles from the Indonesian archipelagoâ € ™ s. Since 2009 the family business, which started off in Oisterwijk ( NL) , has developed into a company with a number of activities in the hospitality branch: catering, delivery restaurants and a full-service event organisation agency. Makan Indonesia " product " can be summed up in two terms: gastronomic entertainment and hospitality. We meet the need for communication and enjoyment by supplying Indonesian food and drink, a perfect service and the right experience. Makan Indonesia is actively involved in organizing fine dining and entertainment throughout the Netherlands for groups of 20 â € “ 500. For Makan Indonesia, corporate responsibility goes beyond dealing responsibly with our employees and the environment. We are also looking for other ways to bring corporate responsibility to life. Our partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme ( WFP) is one example. This partnership includes our support for WFPâ € ™ s school meals programme in Indonesia. Under this initiative children from poor families are offered at least one nutritious meal a day when they attend school.
