A USA Company, State Street Advisors are the exclusive Agents involved in a Pilot Program selling Cocoa Beans from Ghana and the Ivory Coast. This Pilot Program gives the farmers / growers a greater share in the profits and the buyers of the Cocoa Beans a opportunity to purchase Cocoa Beans from Ghana and the Ivory Coast at Substantial Discounts
Since 2000 the Government of Ivory Coast has undertook a re-organization of the Cocoa sector to grant farmers more control over their products and reduce direct state involvement. Currently the Bureau National d' Etudes Tecniques et de Development ( BNETD) is initiating a Pilot Program to assit a select group of the cocoa growers cooperatives and their affiliated exporters, including Galaxxy-SA and their Agents in The USA, State Street Advisors, LLC to sell directly their cocoa beans to the United States, European and Asian destinations in order to maximize their revenue potentials. For the first year the pilot program intends to sell up to 100, 000 metric tons of cocoa beans at a SUBSTANTIAL DISCOUNT off the FOB-Abidjan price to a limited number of chocolate manufacturers and or processors with the volume expected to grow to 300, 000 metric tons yearly. In addition to its participation in Ivory Coast ( BNETD) sponsored pilot program Galaxxy-SA its partner Mondial Negoce International ( MNI) which is licensed by the Cocoa Board of Ghana and their USA Agents State Street Advisors, LLC, have reached an agreement with Ghana Cocoa and Marketing Company LTD to offer up to 50, 000 metric tons of Cocoa Beans from Ghana per year for the next 5 years. The terms of this offering also include a SUBSTANTIAL DISCOUNT from the FOB-Takoradi price or the FOB-Tema price over the 5 year period on all available bean types ( Main Corp, Superior Season or Intermediate Season Corp) as well as Grade 1 and lower grade quality beans.
