Product Description
1.Lithopone is a white pigment composed of a mixture of barium sulfate ( 68-70% ) and zinc sulfide ( 28-30% ) with trace amounts of zinc oxide.
2.odorless, Stronger hiding power, non-dissolved in water.no reaction with hydrogen sulphide and alkaline liquid. In acid solution, resolving into air hydrogen sulphide.
3.Applications: Lithopone is produced by precipitation through filtering, heating and quenching works. Lithopone can replace titanium dioxide which is more durable and much cheaper. Widely used in coating, powder, printing ink, plastic, profiles, paint, rubber, paper, leather, PVC.Lithopone is also used as a base for lake pigment and inert pigment for paint, ink and cosmetics in a large range of applications in plastic industry. Lithopone is used as a filler in paper, leather, and linoleum.
