The global rice market represented approximately $ 240 billion in value in
2010, according to statistics from the Food and Agricultural Organization

the international rice trade. The Indian rice industry was valued at
approximately $ 40 billion in wholesale prices in fiscal 2011, within which

have also benefited from favorable pricing trends and have grown at a 39.5%
CAGR in value sales between fiscal 2007 and 2011. We expect to continue to
benefit from this significant growth in global demand for Basmati and other
specialty rice, which we believe will outpace the growth of the overall rice
