The ballistic panel of the vest is made of advanced UHMWPE fiber (Dyneema), resists 9MM FMJ (velocity about 335m/s) fired by Germany 9mm HKM13 pistol, and also Chinese 64 type 7.62mm pistol lead core bullet, fully compatible with NIJ standard level IIA.
