5-FITC soluble and resolve in water. Easily dissolve in alkalic aquasolution, and disappear in strong green fluorescence to separate out the precipitation. If put in alkali, the precipitation dissolves and the fluorescence appears again. Difficultly dissolve in acetone, ether and benzine. With adsorptivity.
It has stable character which can be saved for over 2 years in room temperature and for even long time in low temperature. The longest absorbed wavelength is 490-495mm, and the longest emission wavelength is 520-530mm. It exists in yellow-green and is usually saved by dissolved in DMFH and DMSO.

Usage: biochemical research; fluorescence tracer. For quick diagnosing diseases cause by virus and parasite.
