Islam is a religion that is full of beauty and one of the representatif that can be captured by our visual senses are calligraphy. As a culture that comes from ALLAH, calligraphy emit messages meaningful visual form so that for some people can be more fully interpreting so that it can provide benefits for us as a â hambaâ .
Islamic calligraphy is one of the ways we as beings with all their limitations in order to understand the greatness of the creator, through letters arranged conveyed messages that can be understood as a guide in life, a simplicity that has been offered by the creator to understand the greatness of God through the beautiful visual form.
Islamic Calligraphy is not a simple thing to say though simple in visual form as Islamic calligraphy arranged in the form of scriptures that contain the words that come from ALLAH, it can be said of Islamic calligraphy is a call to us all to get back closer to ALLAH that has been left to the Prophet Muhammad SAW through the sentences that are arranged in Al Quran.
The stages of understanding of a call is SHOW/ HEAR, READ, UNDERSTAND, ACKNOWLEDGE, EXECUTE. Islamic calligraphy in the form of word of ALLAH to present something that caught the eye, the arrangement of letters, sentences, paragraphs, Juzz, etc. to be a systematic way that can be understood due to the limitations possessed by humans, then Calligraphy calling us to return, in order to be taken straight path in life and the shorter and easier to achieve the actual goal.
Islamic calligraphy as a call, storefront grace presented with all the beauty of the message and visual form, our task as being to help preserve and pass it on to all beings, that is one form of calls presented in the visual display, calligraphy can be a road opener and gate to path is already provided by GOD and Calligraphy Islam calls us to approach it with our eyes and opened the door of mercy through the messages contained in them directly to our soul.
