TIRTA SARI Batik Company was established in 1977. Since the beginning
its founding until 1982, this company can not grow as expected because
limited experiences and the influence of local customs are very strong. Where the
time, indigenous communities are attached to may not use dyes in addition to bang-ment ( soga
original) . Then in 1983, the Government in this case the Ministry of Industry shall administer the
batik develop this through guidance and counseling through educational programs and training both
for human resource development and technical development and the process of batik. Next on
1986 SARI TIRTA companies the opportunity to follow a comparative study at the same time studying at Balai Batik
Yogyakarta. After obtaining additional knowledge, the company began developing TIRTA SARI motifs and colors
