Product Description
Sodium benzoate ( E211) is the sodium salt of benzoic acid and exists in this form when dissolved in water. It can be produced by reacting sodium hydroxide with benzoic acid.
Molecular Formula: C7H5O2Na
Properties:
White granular or crystalline powder, without odour or with slight benzoic odour, soluble in water, and slightly soluble in alcohol.

Usage:
As preservative, anti-microorganism agent used widely as mordant, plasticizer and anti-freeze solution, antiseptic, anti-animalcule and antifreezing agent used in food, medicine, tobacco, plating, printing and dyeing.
