The 3143 was developed based on the technologies of the NTT East Japan Technology Strengthening Center.

Notes on Usage:
The 3143 is particularly useful for measuring the earth resistance of single rod electrodes found among aerial transmission line equipment and various types of safety box circuits, and incorporates a measurement principle that is different from that of the Earth HiTESTER 3151.
