We are PT Djawa Baru, proud to be the leading Indonesian trading company, as well as sole agent, distributor, general supplier, contractor and IT system integrator. We were founded on July 14, 1949, in Surabaya, Indonesia.
In the beginning we mainly sold agricultural products such as rice grain, sugar, and coffee, until 1975â € ™ s when we initiated to supply spare parts to governmentâ € ™ s projects which were known as the Three K Projects ( Kali Konto, Karangkates and Riam Kanan) , and assisted by the government of Japan. This was our foundation to started supplying spare parts for Japanese equipments such as Kobe P & H Shovel, Komatsu, Toyota and Isuzu.
During the construction of Brantas Project, at Brantas Middle Reach Project, in cooperation with Nichimen Corporation and Nomura Trading Company, we provided the after sale service for Waterman dredger and Watanabe dredger as their authorized agent. At the same time, we also assisted Japan Radio Corporation ( JRC) in building telemetry system for this Brantas Project.
During these years, we have many experiences in various kinds of fields and projects. Among those are these following projects:
