GRISH polycrystalline diamond powders are manufactured by the unique technique called oriented-direction detonation. They are transformed from pure graphite when hit by a high-speed flying plate that is accelerated by oriented-direction explosion of high power explosives. They are different from traditional polycrystalline diamond powders such as Hyprez, Mypolex and SCM. Grish PCD is similar to Carbonado in shape. They have diamond crystals, which are 3-8 nm in size, and bonded together to form particles mainly 20-200 nm in size.
