VMS is similar to the VM pumps. It is also the vertical multistage centrifugal pumps that are initially designed for water supply to tall buildings and fire fighting. The most important difference is that all VMS are driven by a 2-pole motor. So the users can have a smaller pump to get big flow and head under the high speed of the pumps. They can save cost as compared with a lower speed pump.
VMS' suction is on the bottom. The discharge can be on the bottom or on the top side in the lateral position. If the discharge is on the bottom, it is on the same line with the suction port in order to install the pump on the same line with pipelines. The top discharge can be 0° , 90° , 180° , 270° With the centerline of the suction port in order to meet different pipe disposal. The size of the suction and discharge is the same.
