- Vitrified(ceramic) bond grinding wheel is a special bonded wheel that are harder than resin and metal bonded wheels,for the use in automated equipments and systems.We have been manufacturing this new,high-performance vitrified bond grinding wheel more than 10 years.We have developed special bond formulations that allowed individual abrasive particles to be fixed into the composite tool with prefined bonding strength,while at the same time achieving a self-adjusting,defined structure and porosity.As a result,the strength and hardness of grinding wheel are determind not only by the relative proportion of the bond material,but also to a decisive extent by the boundarysurface reaction between the abrasive particles and the bond.It is essential to match different bond to the specific reaction characteristics of the diamond and CBN grits.
Due to the chemical adhesion of the grits particles to the binder and controllable porosity,vitrified bonds yield the following significant advantages in comparison with other types of bond:

7. Material to be ground:
● CBN grinding wheel:mainly used for machining hard and tough materials such as:high-vanadium steel,harden steel,die steel,cast iron,cold harden cast iron,nichrome cold harden cast iron,eutectic alloy cast iron,titanium alloy,iron materials,etc.
● Diamond grinding wheel:mainly used for machining hard and brittle materials such as:hard alloy,optical glass,semiconductor,magnetic material,agate,crystal jam,etc.
