Specification :

EXCITER :
The exciter can operate in common or in splitted amplification; the structure is very simple with different plug-in units for easy maintenance and any future improvement.
The L.O. is synthesized and the frequency offset facility is included.
A precision offset circuit and a 5 MHz external reference input are also included giving a ± 1 Hz stability.
All the routine on-air adjustments are available on the front panel.

POWER AMPLIFIER :
Each amplifier unit has a built-in switchmode power supply unit self-protected against over-current and over-voltage, as well the over-temperature, overdrive and VSWR for RF parameters.
A set of LEDs in the front panel shows the status of the unit and a set of test points makes possible the reading of the most important parameters.

VISION/ SOUND COMBINER :
The vision_sound combiner installed inside the transmitter cabinet, is composed by two quadrature couplers
and two double cavity band pass filters.
The combiner is suitable for all the types of dual sound and stereo operations and is tunable on the whole VHF band III and UHF band IV/ V.

COOLING SYSTEM :
The transmitters are air cooled with forced ventilation performed by built-in high reliability blowers.
A careful and proper design has been adopted in order to guarantee all the power devices to work safely even in very high temperature environments.
