    1) Equipment introduction

    The principle of treatment of the red light therapy equipment is to have photochemical effect on organism, so as to make organism have important biological effect and treatment effect.Red  light  is absorbed  mainly  by  mitochondria. In the red light exposure, catalase activity of the mitochondria increases, which can increase metabolism of cells, glycogen content, protein synthesis, adenosine triphosphate decomposition, thereby, strengthen the regeneration of cells and improve the healing of wound and ulcer. At the same time, it improves the phagocytosis of leukocytes and immune function , therefore, which can cure various diseases.

    3) Principle of Treatment
    It adopts superintegrated and imported LED illuminant chips. It could emit the red light of 620 nm to 630 nm wavebands. Red light has the characteristics of high purity, powerful light source, deep penetration , well-distributed energy density. The effect is remarkable in the postoperative wound healing and inflammation treatment, so it is called bioactive light. The red light can improve cells activity, promote cellular metabolism, make the skin secrete a large number of collagen protein and fibrous tissue to themselves to accelerate blood circulation and control infection, so as to achieve the treatment effect of promoting wound healing and eliminating inflammation.

    5) Therapy strategy
    1.  Choose appropriate treatment according to the condition of patients .
    2.The time of radiation should be 20 to 30 minutes every time , twice a day, five days as one period of treatment.
    3.According to the different types of wounds, adopt the method of the appropriate partial treatment.
    4.The surface of superficial fresh wound and the wounds on the donor site should be covered by a layer of vaseline gauze before red light illuminates partial wounds; the rest of the wounds should be cleaned of partial secretion, using saline cotton ball. After that, illuminate the naked partial wounds directly, and then deal with the partial wounds according to the routine method.
