RULES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Our brake motors EEx-d series ASAF have been designed according to the CENELEC rules EN 50014 - EN 50018 - EN 50028, for explosion groups hA hIB ( size 71 IIC) and temperature class T3.
The certificates of conformity have been issued by CESI of Milan - I - and by ISSeP ( ex INIEX) of Pà turage
- BELGIUM.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
- Sizes 71 - 200.
- Shield and frames in cast iron with terminal box on the top.
- Insulation of class F and tropicali sed.
- Mechanical protection IP55.
- Cooling fan is protected by a cover air grating IP2x.
- Fan in synthetical material till type 132, the others in metal materiaL
• Epoxy painting blue RAL 5010.
- Screws: nickled or cadmied.
Powers indicated on the plate are:
• For CONTINUOS DUTY Si if the motors are self ventilated or with forced ventilation.
- For INTERMITTENT DUTY S3
40% if the motors are without ventilation.

BRAKES
7he type BY is in DIRECT CURR ENT with annexed rectifier and fed by a single-phase voltage. It is ratified in EEx-m II T5 ( encaps ulate machine) .
The type PY is in ALTERNING THREE-PHASE CURRENT fed dir ectly by the line.
It is ratified in EEx-d IIC T6.
