Application
1. In pesticide: used in the synthesis of sodium 5-nitroguaiacolate.
2. In pharmaceutical: used in the synthesis of anti-inflammatory and antibacterial medicine, such as sulfoguaiacol, ibuprofen guaiacol ester and guaifenesin, etc.
