1-To increase and maintain the oil’ s dielectric strength, i.e. Breakdown voltage;

2- To dehydrate of free and soluble water, free and dissolved air and gases;

3-To filtrate out particles, impurities and other dirties in the oil;

4-Vacuum drying the transformer and vacuum filling transformer oil.
