PT Indonesian Rice Excellence ( PUI) is a private agribusiness companies in Indonesia are located in the village of Karangtengah Prandon, Ngawi, East Java, which is a PMA / Foreign Investment Company established in Jakarta by Deed Hadianingsih Sri Adi Sugijanto, SH. 02 dated August 2, 2007, approved by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia in his Decree No.. W7-10002-TH HT.01.01 2007 dated 11 September 2007.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The purpose and goal of establishing PUI is to build and develop modern rice processing industry and integrated to meet the need for better quality rice. As well as building partnerships with farmer groups where PUI will buy and consume dry grain harvest ( GKP) of farmer groups in the surrounding area.

PUI rice mill project capacity of 200, 000 tons per year GKP. GKP will be supplied directly from merchants and farmers around the area that is around the East Java and Central Java. PUI has also signed cooperation with PT Bank BRI and Mandiri Sejahtera Giri a local company that can accommodate groups of farmers to markets for their farm to mill rice mill including PUI. Bank BRI will act as a financial institution that will help provide capital for farmers to buy seeds, fertilizers, and other needs for agricultural activities. In the future farmer groups will be handled professionally to meet their agricultural purposes ranging from seeds, fertilizer, herbicides, and other supporting agronomic needs.

As shown on the map below, procurement of major GKP to meet the needs of PUI is derived from Ngawi-Madison-area Magetan. The second area is Sragen-Karanganyar-Sukoharjo, while the third area is Purwodadi-Blora-Bojonegoro-Tuban, and the fourth area is Nganjuk-Jombang-Kediri-Roxburgh.
GKP production in some areas in Central Java and East Java has reached 6 million tons per year ( 2005 data) . For Ngawi area alone GKP production reached about 528, 000 tons ( 2005 data) .

PUI will consume 200, 000 tons per year GKP. This amount is relatively small compared to the potential number of GKP in Ngawi and the surrounding area. Given the scale of the availability of GKP, PUI development prospects in the future will be very large.
