Glacial Acetic Acid is produced through a fermentation process of sugar cane molasses. Fermentation process lasts two ( 2) oxidation stages, namely: the process of oxidation of glucose to ethanol and ethanol oxidation into acetic acid. Levels of acetic acid produced through the fermentation process is still relatively low so that the necessary purification ( distillation) so that the resulting acetic acid levels reach 99% or so-called glacial acetic acid.
