Introduction
The Ziehl Centrifugal Inline fans are the fruits of a lengthy R& D research with our German
technology partner, test and user feedback. The results improve overall fan performance and
operating efficiency by addressing the short comings of existing CIL fan technologies.
The Ziehl Fan Advantage
 Cost competitive
 Easy electrical connection
 Compact design allows easy Installation
Cold Rolled Steel Impellers & Casing ( FRP & Galvanized steel options available)
Durable deep grooved ball bearings to ensure lengthy service life
Able to operate in polluted air
Low noise footprint while in operation
 Thermal protection
Applicable in many fields that require ventilation
 Motors
The external rotor motors incorporate tropic proofed insulation and are suitable for use in
ambient temperatures up to 65° C.
Motor Configuration
 Class B or Class F
 Single or 3 speed options
 Electrical Insulation IP44 or IP55
 Minimal bearing length 40000hrs
impedance protection or winding protection by built-in thermal contacts
Explosion proof motors available on request
 RoHs compliant
Casing
Manufactured from cold-rolled steel or galvanized steel complete with aerodynamic inlet
vanes to ensure maximum air volume delivery with minimal sound emission. Standardized
manufacturing process ensures all casing are size consistent, lightweight and durable. All
CIL fans have equal sized inlet and outlet to ensure easy direct installation.
Impeller
Third generation aerodynamic balanced backward curved centrifugal impeller constructed
from cold-rolled steel or galvanized steel. Computer CFD designs and mini wind tunnel
testing was part of the early R& D process to ensure the creation of the most
aerodynamically efficient impeller.
Accessories
