    Description:

    The 205 Amine Analyzer measures both H2S and CO2 continuously in amine solutions. It is used for significant energy cost savings in operating steam consumption and more in amine treaters and can pay for itself rapidly. The ability to analytically quantify H2S and CO2 in amine ( rich and lean) is enhanced with the Sample Transfer Stripper ( Patented Membrane Technology) and ratiometric colorimetric technologies offered by Analytical Systems International ( ASI) . This measurement results in quick costs savings by optimizing regenerator steam consumption to ensure optimum H2S/ amine loading.

    The principle of operation requires a continuous free flowing liquid sample into a heater where the Sample Transfer Stripper ( STS) unit separates the liquid amine solution from the H2S and CO2 gas sample. An H2S and CO2 free air or nitrogen carrier then sweeps the H2S gas sample to the H2S analyzer and CO2 to the CO2 analyzer for quantitative analysis in PPBw, PPMw, and up to saturation levels. A liquid validation by PermTube is optional. The detection technology is based on chemically specific density changes. The lead acetate sensing tape utilized in our analyzers is the only detection method that is absolutely specific to H2S. Optical illumination & detection are integrated for maximum resolution accuracy. Economic payout is increased because of this automated continuous process or laboratory analyzer.
