Cupping is a treatment that is exemplified by Prophet Muhammad, as explained in Bukhari hadith:

From Ibn Abbas r.a. Messenger of Allah said: " Healing ( medicine) that exist on three things: by drinking honey, knife Hijamah ( bruise) , and with a hot iron. And I forbid my ummah with a hot iron." ( Hadith Bukhari)
