This product is a white powder , harmless, smell-less, insoluble in water, organic acids and week inorganic acid, but slightly soluble in alkali.It dissolves completely in boiling concentrated acid, hydrofluoric acid ad saturated solvent of potassium bicarbonate.It has good covering strength , excellent pigment properties , high hiding power and low oil absorption S.g.: 3.90; Bielectricity constant : 48; Refrangibility : 2.52; Hardness : 5.0-6.0.
Uses:
It is mainly used in coating industry and is the key material of external paint.It is also widely used in telcommunication equipment, synthetic fibre, metallurgy, paper-making, plastics , rubber , dyestuff and enamel.
