2. The usages of activated carbon

3. Gold refining process
( 1) Extracted gold by amalgamation
The extracted gold by amalgamation is an ancient craftsmanship, which is not only conveniency, but also economical, and suitable for recycling coarse grained monomer gold. Many gold mines in China still follow the above method. Along with the development of gold production and science and technology progress, the method is gradually improved and developed. ( 2) Extracted gold by cyanidation
The extracted gold cyanidation is the main method to extract gold from ore or ore concentrate in modern. The method has some base programs as follow roasting-cyanide leaching, leaching pulp of washing filtering, the gold extraction from cyanating solution or roasting-cyanide pulp, finished product smelting and etc. The gold mines existing cyanide factories are basic using two kinds of exacting gold process, one is so-called ordinary cyanidation to exact gold, which is using thickener to carry out continuous countercurrent washing, using zinc powder to replace precipitation to recycle gold. The other is no-filtering cyanidation CIP process, which is without filtering and washing, directly using activated carbon to adsorb and recycle gold from roasting-cyanide pulp.
