SUKUN printing company was initially established in 1965 with a few simple printing machines in order to produce printing materials to fulfill the needs of SUKUN GROUP.
In the course of time, the printing company has to face the development of the cigarette industry, and the development of printing technology, the increasing needs of printing products in the market every year, and at the other hand there is an obligatory to give complete satisfaction to our customers. So in 1978 the SUKUN Printing Company was then renewed with a new name SUKUN DRUCK.
Holding a new name and a new spirit, SUKUN DRUCK is then not only covering the printing products required by SUKUN GROUP.
It is then enlarged to cover the needs of both domestic and export markets. New buildings and new modern and sophisticated machines are then added. Most of the printing, prepress and finishing machines are of HEIDELBERG which use new technology in printing. To handle and operate the new technology, a group of workers are then given special training by technicians of HEIDELBERG. In addition, these workers are also given special education in management and modern technology of printings.
We have now a lot of experience in printing business, mainly in covering the various needs of printing products required by SUKUN GROUP and other cigarette manufacturers, and also other companies, both private ( Swasta) and state owned ( BUMN) .
Increasing the quality of our products is continuously done by us without delay. From the machinery side, we are not behind our local competitors. We will always work harder to be the first in the front line. SUKUN DRUCK is now improving with new machinery and technology : offset, rotogravure, paper coating, paper laminating, stitching, gluing, punching, and embossing.
Our human resources, the workers, being our most important asset in the company are constantly improved both their skills and knowledge. This has long become our policy, to harmonize the technology and the human resource. This policy has given us excellent results : Certificate of ISO 9001 : 2008 in MANAGEMENT, and OHSAS 18001 : 2007 in K3 ( health and safety of work) issued by ISO certification of TUV NORD Indonesia, the main office of which is in Germany.
