E-Series Fiber Microscope 200x Oblique Illum., 2.5mm Adapter

The FM-E200 is a ruggedized field scope with magnification of 200x and oblique illumination. It comes with a universal 2.5mm adapter for inspecting FC, SC and ST connectors. The E Series accepts FMAE Series adapters, but can be configured to accept FMA adapters with the use of a coupler.
The E-Series Fiber Microscope utilizes oblique illumination to quickly and easily inspect the fiber core. The white LED light is bended to hit the core at an angle, making any contamination and debris readily visible. Furthermore, faint scratches are not as easily seen with oblique

illumination, which allows a technician using the scope to polish to a higher loss level without being tempted to over-polish the end-face. With its rugged, lightweight design and ultra-compact design, the E-Series easily fits into small tool kits and even pockets!
Easily changeable adapters are available for any type of connector. The rubber boot provides a slip-resistant grip, while a built-in laser safety filter provides a high level of attenuation at the most common laser wavelengths in case of accidental viewing.
