VIP Shipping Company is headquartered in Jakarta. Management offices are located in Singapore, Batam, Banjarmasin, Samarinda, and Sorong. The company is privately owned.

Our core business activity is technical shipping owned management. The present managed fleet consists of; Bulk Carriers, Oil/ Chemical Tankers, Tug and Barge. VIP Shipping Sevices, through its operating subsidiaries, presently undertakes full technical management of over 10 vessels.

All VIP Shipping offices and managed vessels follow the same operating procedures and adhere to the same operating standards. VIP Shipping Services redeploys senior staff between the various operating offices for career development purposes and to ensure a common company culture. VIP Shipping Services Jakarta is the main operating office employing over 20 staff with a further 10 plus staff employed at our other offices.

VIP Shipping Services branches are manning agents responsible for the recruitment, appointment, and administration of East European sea staff. The selection of officers lies with the Singapore, Banjarmasin, Samarinda and Sorong offices. Manning agents in Singapore and Batam with close relations provide additional sea staff to the group. VIP Shipping Services has full control over most of its manning agents which is essential to ensure crew continuity and competence. The group employs in excess of 200 seafarers, a database of competent seafarers provides additional labour as required. While most manning agentsâ € ™ main customers are other VIP Shipping affiliates they also undertake crew management directly with other ship managers and ship owners.

Over the last 5 years the group has supervised the construction and taken delivery of numerous new building vessels in Batam and PT PAL Surabaya. A series of product bulk carrier in Surabaya, oil tankers, handy size bulkers and Tug Barge in Batam.
