Fondo Kalay Smelting Co., Ltd.( WFKALY) was registered in 1972 and commenced mining in South China in 1978. FKALAY' s business focuses on mining and nonferrous metal smelt
For the 12 months period to 31 December 2003, sales of Lead ingot, Zinc ingot, antimony ingot from Sourh China generated operating revenue for FKALAY of around US$ 8.23 million.
In China FKALAY employs over 220 people, of whom 102 are mining residents. WFKALAYâ € ™ s major operating costs comprise labour, electricity, maintenance and rehabilitation of mined areas. WFKALAY also indirectly employs many local businesses and contractors, which provide services to the mine.
The Mining area has also grown since FKALAY began operations. Schools, medical services, roads, electricity and water supplies and communication links have been established with the assistance of the company' s 23 years of mining on the Mining A rea.FKALAY exports mineral to around 20 countries.
