Hydrogel wound dressing is made of polyacrylamide in a matrix with embedded hydrophilic polysaccharide particles. Used on moderately exuding wounds because of its capability of absorbing up to two times its own weight. Moisture vapor-permeable; and has a cooling, soothing effect on first- and second- dregree burns and partial- thickness wounds.
