Intumescent fire seal are for use in fire door assemblies to control the spread of fire through buildings. The graphite-based intumescent compound in the PVC casings contain is unaffected by water or moisture in the air. The seals are rebated into the door' s head and jambs.
The Fire Seal are tested to BS476 & SS332.
Fire seal are supplied in standard lenghts of 1.05m and 2.1m ( with or without doublesided self-adhesive tape) in the following nominal dimensions: 10mm wd, 12mm wd, 15mm wd, 18mm wd, 20mm wd and 25mm wd.
