Role and usage:
Urate inhibite in proximal tubular reabsorption of the initiative to increase the excretion of uric acid salts, lower blood uric acid concentrations of salt, to alleviate or prevent the formation of urate nodules, to promote the formated uric acid salts’ dissolution. For increase Penicillin and Cephalosporin’s blood-concentration in chronic gout, and extend their effect time.
Application:
Chronic gout, oral 0.25g 2times/day, can be increased to 0.5-1g 2 times/day after a week to increase the action of penicillins, each 0.5g,4 times/day; for children, 25mg/kg every 3-9 hours a time/day.
Adverse reactions:
We can see a small number of patients with gastrointestinal reactions, skin rash, fever. It can increase the attack of gout in the early treatment, due to uric acid salt out of the joints.
Notes:
Serve with a large number of water and sodium bicarbonate to prevent the formation of urinary tract stone by uric acid salts’s in the urinary tract. For those renal function lower and those allergic to sulfa drugs, use with caution. Do not take with acidum ethacrynicum, hydrochlorothiazide, Paul Tesson, indomethacin and oral hypoglycemic agents. The hyperuricemia with tumour, or the patients uses anti-cancer treatment prescription with cell dissolved isn’t suitable to use this product, as a result of which can cause nephropathy.
