TERMS OF PAYMENT
PAYMENT VIA IRREVOCABLE, TRANSFERABLE, DIVISIBLE, UNENCUMBERED, UNCONDITIONAL AND CONFIRMED PRIME BANK GUARANTEE (SPECIMEN TEXT WILL BE ATTACHED WITH DRAFT CONTRACT) ISSUED BY A PRIME WORLD BANK ACCEPTABLE TO SELLER. THE PRIME BANK GUARANTEE IS TO BE ISSUED AND OPENED FOR THE TOTAL CONTRACT VALUE IN FAVOUR OF THE SELLER. ALL BANK CHARGES INCURRED SHALL BE BORNE BY THE BUYER.
Procedure:
1. Buyer issues LOI and BCL
2. Seller issues FCO.
3. Buyer Returns signed FCO
4. Issued draft contract with bank details.
5. Buyer signs/seals contract and return if acceptable as final and informs seller of LC opening in first Class Bank.
6. Buyer opens non-operative LC. This is activated as the Seller issues PB.
7. Hard copies of contract are signed and exchanged via courier service
8. Validity: 5 banking days (imperative).
