These fuse bases with lightning arrester are mounted into electric MV circuits as protection elements against overcurrents and overvoltages. The fuse bases can incorporate fuse inserts of 442 mm ( face-to-face length) , with 25 kV rated voltage, and 638 mm length with 38.5 kV rated voltage.

This switching device is used for the switching of no-load circuits in the MV switching stations. The disconnector drives can be either of electric motor or hand operated type, with manual actuation of the electrical drives. The QAKZ marking denotes the QAK disconnectors, completed with an earthing switch.

ELECTRICAL DRIVES FOR INDOOR DISCONNECTORS

ELECTRICAL DRIVES type SPT-CB
The drive unit features a self-contained block which can be mounted both on the left-hand or right-hand side, depending on the arrangement in the inside of the switching cell. The torque transmission from the output shaft of the drive onto the shaft of the disconnector is ensured by a system of handles and pull rods.
