It has become evident that to ensure the highest possible occupancy, optimal space utilisation and provide a stress-free pleasurable environment for parking customers, it is necessary to manage the movement of vehicles within these facilities. When it comes to parking, co-ordination is key.

What elevates SMartMATIC® is that it has the ability to pinpoint vacant parking spaces and direct drivers effortlessly and in the shortest amount of time to the most convenient parking space. Operating off a low voltage power base, with minimised installation costs and improved safety makes it most attractive, while useful energy-saving modes become active during times of low occupancy.

With SMARTMATIC ® AND FAST MATIC ® parking facilities can now ensure maximum occupancy. The occupancy of each parking space is constantly monitored via an ultrasonic Bay Monitoring Sensor. This information is coordinated, with the help of IntelliBoosters and Data Concentrators, and is sent to a facility' s system computer where the smartmatic® and fastmatic® Software accurately directs vehicles to areas of vacant parking bays.

Drivers are directed by illuminated displays, which include Intersection Guidance Displays ( IGD) , Numerical Message Signs ( NMS) and Variable Message Signs ( VMS) , indicating which directions to take and where there are available parking spaces. Vacant spaces are identified by green illumination in the sensor over the parking space or by the Bay Occupancy Display conveniently located in the aisle.
