The history of the Solik Plantation Group dates back to its humble beginnings in 1985. Starting with a mere 4, 000 hectares of Desa Talisai estates, the area under oil palm cultivation in Asanja Plantation has increased over seven ( 8) folds to its present land-bank of approximately 30, 000 hectares in the Sandakan and Sugut region in Sarawak, Malaysia. The Group has also embarked into land expansion in Indonesia and a joint-venture in India for oil palm cultivation.The Group owns and operates eleven ( 10) oil palm, sunflower, corn and soyabeans estates, complemented by eight ( 8) oil mills capable of processing over four million tonnes per year and a palm kernel crushing plant. The Groupâ € ™ s oil palm estates and the state-of-the-art processing mills consistently produce results above the industry' s average. The Group' s other complementary and downstream activities include the trading of agrochemical and fertilisers, rice, Frozen chicken and wheat, Sugar refining other business include production and bulking services
