Luster and smooth softener 2231-80% is multi component amino modified polysiloxane elastomer. It can be used for softening finishing of polyester, cotton and blend fabrics, especially for feeling finishing of polyester nap cloth.
Characteristics and advantage
¡ò Impart fabrics with excellent gilding and slipping property and good drapability.
¡ò Impart fabrics with good brightness, improve fabric¡¯s luminance.
¡ò Little de-coloring in impregnating or padding bath, low foaming.
¡ò Basically no infection on dry or wet rub fastness, especially has obvious effect on fine-denier polyester fiber.
¡ò Has obvious feeling effect, outstanding gliding and slipping property when used for polyester nap cloth, T/C swan velvet, cotton/spandex, cotton/nylon, T/C, polyester/spandex, etc. Can make out various hand feeling when used with 2264C or 2265C.
¡ò Suitable for immersion of various fabrics with its strong adsorbability, and easy to exhausted. No silicate spot left on inwall of equipments.

Appearance: colorless or yellowish viscose liquid

pH Value: 6.0-8.0(1% aqueous solution)
Solubility: can be dispersed in water by any ratio
Application field
Feeling finishing of cotton, polyester and their blends.
Immersion process
1. Add 3-5 part soft water and one part 2231-80%, stir to mixed even at normal temperature.
2. Sample, look the appearance, and qualified product is light blue semi-transparent microemulsion(best watched in glass cup).
3. Filtrate(160 mesh stainless net), discharge, pack.
Recommended dosage
Immersion method: Diluted product of 2231-80%: 1-3% (o.w.f)
Dip padding: Diluted product of 2231-80%: 10-30g/L
Packing
120kg plastic drum.

Storage
Can be stored for 6 months under cool and well ventilated condition.
