The SAEKAPHEN product range of cleaning agents consists of two products which were specifically developed based on long term trials with heavily spoiled surfaces:
SAEKAPHEN Cleaning Paste 80.750
SAEKAPHEN Silicone Grease 81.750
Both products are pasty substances and they are harmless to human health and the environment. The two products are used wherever there is a threat of strongly-soiled Equipment or machinery disturbing the process or causing risks for the employees or the environment.
This is where both products offer significant value to the customer by offering a cleaning and sealing function.

Electricity Industry

In the Electricity Industry the two products are designed to protect high voltage insulators from electrical flash-over due to the combination of dust and moisture. The SAEKAPHEN Cleaning Paste is applied on the surface of the insulator and forms a hydrophobic layer to prevent this flash-over phenomenon.
In areas with high dust contamination the combination with SAEKAPHEN Silicone Grease is highly recommended. The application target is the High Voltage transmission network and in particular transformer stations.
SAEKAPHEN cleaning agents ensure a higher reliability of the power transmission network due to less flash-over accidents. In addition to this technical benefit the cleaning cycles per time period can be reduced in particular due to the cleaning and sealing function of the SAEKAPHEN Cleaning Paste. This overcompensates the price for the cleaning agents used.
The use of SAEKAPHEN cleaning agents enables the industry to save 50 to 75 % of their maintenance cleaning costs compared to conventional mechanical cleaning
