Guizhou Aviation Industry Import/ Export Corporation ( hereinafter called the â GAIECâ ) founded in May 1993 after the approval of Guizhou Foreign Trade and Economic Ministry, is a stated-owned enterprise. It is one of the whole capital controlled companies of China National Guizhou Aviation Industry Group Co. Ltd. ( hereinafter called the â GAICâ ) .
GAIG is one of the stated-owned largest enterprises with relative economic scale and strong technical capability to produce both military and civilian products. Its main products are aircraft ( including engine) , automobile and the spare parts and it takes its assets as ties. It consists of 48 close enterprises and among which there are 24 manufacturers with 62597 employees. Its total asset value is 10.50 billion ( RMB) in which the fix asset is 3.85 billion ( RMB) . It is GAIEC that takes on the export of products or equipment made in GAIG and the import of materials, equipment and production lines for GAIG. GAIEC is also engaged in the processing trade, foreign economic cooperation, contacting the project, sending the labors to overseas.
Base on strong support of GAIG, GAIEC has done the best on developing market and has engaged in the processing trade, foreign economic cooperation, contacting the project, sending the labors to overseas with more than 30 countries and regions. GAIEC has kept touch with some famous companies in the world such BOERING, SNECMA, Aerospatiale of France etc. on business and project cooperation. GAIEC has received the favorable comments of GAIG, internal and foreign customers and relative function departments by its high quality operation, consummate service, strong strength and favorable credit standing.
GAIEC has established 4 JVC, one whole capital controlled company. Its scale and market are increasing by a big margin. Up to end of 2008 its import and export trade total is up to USD 62, 600.00 among which export total is USD 59, 000, 000.00, import total is USD 3, 600, 000.00
