In recent years, our country brings on compulsory test standards for the performance of headlamp, which call for
carrying out test for the performance and mounting of vehicles lighting fitting, and it has already brought into effect in Jan
2003. The power-driven vehicle lamplight test bench is manufactured for this reason. According to GB7258-2004 Safety
specifications for power-driven vehicles operating on roads, the system is used to test upper beam luminous intensity and
lower beam anti-dazzle characteristic for power-driven vehicle' s headlamp. It can improve performance and mounting
quality of vehicles lighting fitting, which is an absolutely necessary device for model certification.

6Main Functions and Features of Equipment
The system adopts the industrial control computer as the man-and-machine operating interface, and tests the mounting
position of motorcycle headlamp to adjust it to the optimal position. According to the national correlative standards, the
test procedure respectively gives tests for upper beam luminous intensity and lower beam anti-dazzle characteristic
( namely, cut-off line height and cut-off line offset) .
1. Fix the testing vehicle to the clamping device, and make the fiducial center of the testing lamp is 10 meters away from the
vertical;
2. The detecting probe can transport the illuminance values that are collected during the moving process to the computer,
and then get the data processing;
3. According to the correlative standards, it can automatically test the maximum headlamp upper beam light intensity,
headlamp upper beam optical axis offset, and cut-off line height;
4.It can automatically identify the illuminance value and coordinate value;
5. The computer software has the functions as follows:
( 1) Realizing the movement operation of the screen detecting probe;
( 2) Data storage and inquiry function;
( 3) Plotting function for test result.
