Smart GSM/ GPRS Remote Snapshot IP Camera

1. Outline
This GSM remote IP camera compact mobile surveillance and monitoring system for transmission of high resolution video and single images via GPRS/ EDGE network, so even in places with no internet connection available. The video and single images can be viewed on a PC, and can be recorded on a local SD card and later downloaded or reviewed via built-in web server. The whole system is made up of three parts: the front GSM/ GPRS IP camera, CMS( Central Management System) whGPRSServer and the back end whGPRSClient software. The CMS whGPRSServer and the back end whGPRSClient software can be located in the same PC or in different PC. The whole software architecture is based on Client/ Server. Users can preview and playback the video and snapshot images by whGPRSClient. One CMS can support up to three thousand front GSM IP cameras and ten customer consoles, running whGPRSClient software, on line at the same time. The camera has an embedded web server too, user can log into the web server to take images or look through images by using a standard web browser running on PC or mobile phone, but this operation requires a fixed IP SIM. It supports multi-users access and password protection.

2. Main features of the GSM/ GPRS remote camera
1) There exists a Central Management System to manage up to three thousand front IP cameras and ten customer consoles to access on line the same time
2) Built-in Web server for monitoring via standard browser
3) Video clip ( desirable time duration) and/ or single snapshot images
4) Store and forward function.When the GSM/ GPRS network temporary is not available, the pictures will be stored in the camera and then be forwarded to the CMS when the GSM network is available
5) Supporting GSM/ GPRS Mobile Network, build in GSM/ GPRS module ( SIM slot) with external antenna, quad band 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900 MHz GPRS/ EDGE network
6) Two-way speaking. The center server can initialize the voice speaking
7) Supporting several power supplier modes:
a. Main power supply and backup battery supply
b. Once the failure of the main power, the backup battery will act on
c. Solar powering is optional
8) Multi communication ways ( MMS, Email, Ftp, smart and scalable integrated PC software)
9) Various image formats ( 2560x1920, 2048x1536, 1600x1200, 1280x960, 640x480, 320x240 is optional)
10) images snapshot trigged by several ways:
On schedule time
a. On demand from user
b. Signal from one of the sensors
11) Up to 32 GB SD/ SDHC local storage, images can be saved on a local SD card.
12) Night vision: infrared LEDs, effective range up to 20Meters, enable the camera to caputure images in dark enviroment
13) Watchdog built-in assure its stability

The video and single images from the monitoring scene are stored in the center server. The center server forwards them to customer console if it log into the center server. Customer console running whGPRSClient software can preview the living picture, user can also playback pictures, seek history pictures and inquiry logs.
