    Carthamus Yellow
    Carthamus Safflower Yellow is a natural food pigment extracted from the petal of Carthamus Tinctoria L. by the process of extracting, filtrating, purifying, concentrating, sterilizing, spraying & drying. The main coloring ingredient is carthamine.

    Characteristics: The appearance of Carthamus Safflower Yellow is yellow or brown yellow powder. It can easily dissolve in water and ethanol solution, but not in ether, petroleum ether, oil and acetone. It is an excellent coloring agent for starch, but slightly coloring for protein. Ferric ion can make it becomes black. It has good resistance to light and high temperature
    Applications and Usage Instruction( in compliance with GB2760 Hygienic standards for uses of food additives) : Carthamus Safflower Yellow can be widely used in instant rice & flour products, soda pop, fruit-flavoured beverages, beverages of fruit and vegetable juice( pulp) , decorative fruits and vegetables, frozen drinks( edible ice excluded) , candy, topping, preserved fruits, jelly, canned fruits, canned vegetables, canned eight precious porridges, imitation wine. When use Carthamus Yellow, dissolve the color with a small amount of water first, and them mix the color solution with food.
    Usage Reference( in compliance with GB2760 Hygienic standards for uses of food additives) : For instant rice& flour products, the maximum usage limit is 0.5g/ kg.The maximum usage limit for other pr
